My favorite Carly songs are Forever my love, You don't feel the same, Look me in the eyes, Reunions, Our first day together, Half a chance, Anyone but me, The right think to do, In small moment, We're so close, We just got here, Touched by the sun...... You are very lucky because you've seen Carly. For me she reminds like an idol that i can't touch and that is magic. What about "You belong to me" as the song of this week ? It reminds me the summer in Spain. I stood listenning this album at night windows open wide.It was wonderful to think about love, sun and holydays. And for you ? ( I don't know why nobody send messages to the list in this moment. What's happening ?) Hmmm...1978. Working at a dry cleaners (NOT the best job in the summer!) :) Listening to WLS (THE radio station in Chicago at the time). Loving the song, and thrilled as I watched both the single and the album climb the charts (I was a BIG reader of Billboard back then). Both did even better in Chicago than nationally! The song is great. It just flows so smoothly. Sensuous vocals. Upbeat tempo. A bit unlike her previous material and yet at the same time, typical Carly (wonderful). Like I said, working in a dry cleaners any time is not the best of work, particularly in the summer, but it was a good time back then and this song brings back those moments very clearly. I guess we all have been busy :-> and too tired to write any messages lately. But Carly and her music are of course in our hearts. And I'm very happy 'cause my CD player is working again :-) The song of this week is "Have You Seen Me Lately?". I haven't... I mean I haven't seen me lately. So damn busy!
