I get sick of listening to soul/rap all the time. The sax solo on Lost In Your Love really gets to me everytime. Like just Like You Do from Spy. We have had a few more listers join. maybe these newbies are able to write.... Too late into the summer, I realized that I could bring in my tapes or CD to have the lifeguard office play instead of the constant rap and rock. I could listen to any Carly for lounging by the poolside and find "Hotcakes" to be about the best exercise-friendly selection of her tunes. It's my turn! What's you favourite song from the Spoiled Girl album? Mine is "Anyone But Me'. Her voice is charming and strong at the same time. This song is totaly different from the others, and I love it! Love, Renata Cristina ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Sep 98 10:01:43 PDT From: "g sotoares" Subject: Favorite song from Spoiled girl Hello everybody!! I'm happy to know that someone loves "Anyone but me" like i do. This song is very romantic and very "Carly's song" in opposition to the others in the album. This album is very special and I like it very much, but when I've heard "Anyone but me" I knew that Carly was great even when changing in style is necessary to be known by the young audience. I remember this time, i was totally excited about this song and in that summer's evennings i had phone to the local radio asking for this song (I never thought that i'd do something like this) So, this is my favorite song of the album and one of my favorites in all Simon's career. What do you think about " We just got here" in Have you see me lately, For me is the same case: I love this song. What do you think about it? Bye. (I think it's true that we are very quiet in this site, specially in Carly Simon Forum at james taylor page, i don't read replies in weeks...) ------------------------------ End of hotcakes-digest V1 #43 *****************************
