Just checking in, passing on touring information and giving you an update on the new CD. Thank you to all who have already donated, you have made it possible to get this CD underway. All help is greatly appreciated and helps tremendously! I'm out in LA at the moment recording. I'm so excited to work with the musicians on this new CD. Many are friends that I've played with over the years...many years at this point. Dan Petty, a friend from college and former "Blue Leaves" band mate, is helping produce the CD as well play guitars. Jay Bellerose, another friend from college and musical muse who I have played with in many different situations over the years, on drums. Doug Petty, a friend from recording "Living Room" and an amazing keyboard player and Jen Condos, a new friend and amazing musician, on bass. We recorded live as a band for 2 days in the studio. Now Dan and I are working away on the details. We're almost finished with the first 6 songs...very exciting! I'll be heading back East next week for some shows and to make sure I still have a home there(; The rain finally ends here in CA and I leave...hmmmm, I have to work on that.
