The link is below. http://www.metronews.ca/story.aspx?id=11634&searchtype=1&fragment=False Can't wait to see her again at the Mod Club. It's a great venue for live shows. Tony On 10/1/06, Julian C. So yeah, more of us are still around. >Well, what, other than Emm are you listening to now? It's been a rather busy time for new music - many of the artists I follow have released new albums recently. Edie Carey just released a new album, "Another Kind of Fire," which I haven't heard yet - got my copy on order. Matt Wertz just released "Everything in Between." It's pretty good, though I prefer some of his older stuff. Kyler England just released a 4-track EP (The Green Room Sessions) that I got Saturday, but have yet to listen to (been focused on the live performance I recorded that night). Vienna Teng had a new album out earlier this summer (Dreaming Through the Noise) - I've heard that one though I have yet to give it a real critical listen. I believe Jonatha Brooke is expecting a new CD soon as well. Other than that, I've been listening to James Blunt, a few Thai musicians (Mint, Tata Young), and a bunch of live shows. >BTW, I really like the new album, not nearly as much as I loved >Great Lakes. I'm not as sold on PVT, though. I think the word that came to mind when I first heard it was "ponderous." Maybe I'm too used to the old versions to get into the new ones.
