Some of you are familiar with the benefit shows I put on every year in Toronto at C'est What... Well, we're not having one this summer (probably will do one in the fall/winter instead), but we *are* throwing two excellent indie showcases at the club regardless. Both shows will feature Winnipeg piano popster Andrew Spice (his debut album was produced by Emm Gryner)... He's just moved to Toronto this week, so I've put together a bit of a residency (well, a truncated one, anyway ;)) for him at C'est What (Front & Church) to kick things off and welcome him to T.O. We're hoping for a solid turnout, so please do come out to both shows, bring some friends, and pass this on to anyone you think would be interested...! (FYI: Both shows will end fairly early, for those of you who have to go to work the next morning.)
