Midwest Hi All, I'm happy to announce two upcoming Living Room Concerts for those of you in the Ohio-Michigan area. This month I will be hosting Jessica Weiser (featuring Jess(vocals/piano/guitar) and Lyle Koehnlein (guitar/bass), as she tours the Midwest. The show is scheduled for Friday evening, March 21st in Toledo, Ohio. Tentative start time will be 8 pm. A local musician will more than likely open up for Jessica. On Tuesday evening, April 29th, I am excited to announce that Terami Hirsch will make her way to Toledo while touring the Midwest. Again, I plan to have a local musician open for Terami. Since this one will be a week-day show, I plan to start a little earlier...say around 7 pm. More details to follow as we get closer to the date. Toledo is within an hour from Detroit and Ann Arbor Michigan and about an hour and a half from Cleveland. I am located close to Interstate and Turnpike exits as well as restaurants and hotels for anyone that would be considering staying overnight. I can accommodate up to 30 people comfortably and have 24 spots remaining for Jessicabs show and all spots open for Terami in April. There is a $10 donation per person at each of the shows. Snacks and beverages will be provided. By the week-end I should have a website up with more details so stay tuned. If you plan on attending, please RSVP to me at dlynngarrett@aol.com Hopefully by the 21st of March we will get a break in the winter weather.....why not celebrate the coming of Spring with us!! Hope to see some of you there. I took the trouble to write down the set list, but you beat me to it! ;-^ > The End (haven't heard that in awhile! :) Emm said someone named Jaron (?) requested it at her website. So yeah, those things do work. > Disco Lights (solo on bass) Awesome as always. Too bad it was at the posh Commodore where stupid swanky hipsters were talking all the way through it. Beeyatches. > Summerlong (perennial upbeat breakup song) I was surprised this didn't get a bigger pop than it did. Ah well. Lets blame that on the hipsters too! > Symphonic (slowed down a bit) Ah, so I *wasn't* crazy to think that it was slowed down a bit! > 89 Days (with distortion/feedback guitar solo outro) The instrumental wanking outro was tres cool > oh yeah, Holly McNarland was good too. Yeah, she was quite good. I would've loved it though if she and Emm had switched roles, but it was a good 25 bucks spent.
