Dunno if this has already been mentioned, as I'm on digest, but...

Asianblue is up for Best Pop Album at the Juno Awards!  Finally, an actually 
*good* pop album breaks through the usual glut of mediocrity in that 
category (didn't stop La Lavigne from dominating the rest of the 
nominations, though <sigh)...

That's amazing how the Juno Awards recognizes independent artists. I wish the Grammys did the same. [sigh] Hooray for Emm! I hope she wins. Who's she up against/nominated with?

I actually like Avril Lavigne's CD, she has about 2 or 3 decent songs on there. I also dig John Mayer's CD too...really good! How about Bic Runga's 'Beautiful Collision'? I've been burning that CD out in my car for a couple of months now. Has she been nominated for anything?
