This is a reference to (a scene) from the movie _The Graduate_. Can't help with the others, but if you find out what they mean and/or the song means, I'd love to hear it. I'm pretty sure, but you might want to get a second opinion before you put it in your senior thingy. As you well know, the color blue is associated with sadness. I believe Emm meant "dropped your bomb on tuesday night" with added dramatic emphasis "your bomb like blood." So, it's grammatical err and auricular beauty as well. The popular opinion on 1967 is the "Graduate" reference and I haven't heard any other interpretation for the past couple of years. I absolutely love this song; "acid" is the song that attracted me to Emm's music because it reflected my own hurt and anguish at that time. My interpretation of the term "acid" used in the song has a dual meaning. "acid" to me represents the drug which is a semblance of euphoria while in the midst of love. Also, "acid", as in the corrosive liquid, resembles how it eats away at your being when you are coping with a breakup or whatever dissolution of the prior love relation. Ben, you may want to pose your question on Emm's messageboard on her official website. I rarely see Emm respond personally on this mailing list. I'm not knocking this mailing list, Julian. It's GREAT! Julian, it was good to finally meet you at the Point and Maxwell's. See yall Emm fans, John.
