Saw the sisters from "western Canada" last night. Great show. I had little previous knowledge of their music, but had quite a bit of fun. Sigur Ros is touring. Check your local listings. I got my selfish hands on tickets for the Massey Hall show in TO next month. I know many of you on the list are from Canada. As an American I would like to say that your new $5 bill with the kids playing hockey on it and the skating rink quote is really cool. Colorful currency as well, not boring two tone like ours. Neat stuff. For hockey fans who don't know what I am talking about...find out. I officially declare this rambling...complete. I can't give thumbs up for their latest album, though -- I personally find it bland. Maybe it's just me, but I find the albums getting more and more generic. Their original independent release was great, but "This Business of Art" I didn't really like as much as the first, and this one I just dislike. > I know many of you on the list are from Canada. So pretty much every Canadian who was raised here knows of that story. :) - - Julian - -- [ Julian C.
