Vienna. Seen her many, many times. She's actually the main reason why Emm's Expresso Garden show was sold out in SJ (and my friends weren't able to get in). Emm and Vienna really should consider a possible tour together. Not to say Annie Lin and Jenny Choi were bad but, let's be honest, they aren't nearly at the level of Emm artistically. Anyway, yeah, go to Jeff's house :) Also, don't think this has been posted... http://www.chartattack.com/damn/2002/08/2803.cfm ~Candace > Date: Tue, 3 Sep 2002 22:31:21 -0400 > From: Jeff Wasilko > Subject: OAC: House Concert 9/28/2002, Vienna Teng > (Boston) > > If you like performers like Emm Gryner (who Vienna's > toured > with), Sarah Slean, Fiona Apple, Sarah McLachlan, > and Tori Amos, > I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy Vienna's show. I've been fortunate enough to see her several times, including one house concert, and trust me you will not be disappointed, you Bostonites. Her set was nearly 3 hours long - that plus food made for a splendid evening. She's also very funny and personable and explains the genesis of nearly every song in witty and/or touching detail before she plays it. In short, SEE HER! Yahoo!
