I'm glad to see that Tab made mention of the Art Bar. Yes the Gladstone had been under fire during February as it shut it's doors to the Art Bar and the Melody bar (where they have Karaoke). The Bar was thus closed between February 10th to the somewhere around the 22nd... Unfortunately, the booker for the Art Bar has gone away on vacation for a couple of month and was not comfortable leaving the bar in such a state. So she ended up cancelling all the shows for the next two months while she was gone. Hopefully in May, we will see music played there again. Has anyone gone to see any shows at Revival on College? I was talking to Martina Sorbara yesterday cause she will be having her cd release at the beginning of April. She told me that the place is quite big. As big as Lee's but more narrow, than wide. There is also the new space at the Hard Rock Cafe... Club 279 which is quite a nice space. I saw Vyletz playing there on Wednesday night and it was such a classy space. Quite large. Hugh's Room is also an amazing space, too bad it is so far from the downtown core. There is no information on the Nettwerk site , however there is an extremely small version of one of my photos on the site (to my surprise).
