Well, if you like NAPG, I'd suggest you also get her (self-titled) debut, Not So Soft, Imperfectly, Puddle Dive, Like I Said, Out Of Range, Dilate, More Joy Less Shame, Living In Clip, Little Plastic Castle, To The Teeth, Up Up Up Up Up Up, Swing Set, and Revelling/Reckoning. Yup, that's all of 'em! :) ******************************************** Mike Keast (mikekeast@email.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/frames.html http://www.live365.com/stations/260845 ******************************************** - -- _______________________________________________ 1 cent a minute calls anywhere in the U.S.! http://www.net2phone.com/cgi-bin/link.cgi?170 ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2001 18:40:03 -0800 From: Bob Subject: Re: Chartattack Yearly Poll smirkypop curiously typed: >You know, there are a lot of lauding and acclaiming >words to describe the fair ms. Here's yer weekly Ted's Wrecking Yard update, kids: Could be nothing more than the usual speculation and hearsay, but campus press at U of T is reporting that, in an almost ridiculous game of musical chairs, Ted's might be moving into one of the floors of the old El Mocambo space on Spadina. :P I really can't say how accurate that is, *but* the fact remains that the new owner of the old El Mo building did plan to keep running the first floor as a live music venue, so perhaps it's not all that farfetched... Would be awfully funny, though. What goes around, - - Tab :) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Nov 2001 22:53:09 -0500 (EST) From: "Julian C. In a way, that would ensure everyone wins; Dan Burke gets his two-floor music club back, and Ted's gets the one floor that it needs to put on live acts. It's too bad Burke had to start this whole mess by stealing someone else's club, but judging by the amount of coverage in even Toronto's "alternative" weeklies (i.e. nothing at all last week), not a hell of a lot of people seem to give a shit. - - Julian [ Julian C. Everyone get themselves over to the brand-spankin' new sarahslean.com and check it out if you haven't already! So beautiful. Kudos to Steve and Kendra for a job well done. :) Love the loopy self-penned bio (but not so much the 'official bio') - go read both and you'll see what I mean. :P And those Josh Cornell photos - oh, man, there are no words. And even Miss Sarah is becoming quite the shutterbug - love the pics from the recording session... And oh, by the way, looks like we finally have a release date and a title for that album we've all been waiting for - "The Nightbug Orchestra" is due out February 5th in Canada, U.S. release TBA. - - Tab :) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V4 #266 ***********************************
