I'm chuckling thinking of an occasion where Emm did do 'Holiday'. James. LOL .. cause it's true, that forum is full of ToriDefenders and the like. So that goes to show just how much of a great album GV really is. :) - - Ian http://emmgryner.cjb.net http://torisbeauty.cjb.net - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2001 6:23 PM Subject: Re: GV review at ChartAttack > Speaking of Tori's stuff......I've been poking around on a Tori message > board, and some of her fans like Emm's covers better than Tori's. Tori issue once more, but from a slightly different angle (I can't remember, that's why): I love Emm with a passion. Not the crazy, psycho kind- but...for example, when she said to go to Sarnia to look at Karen Baer's artwork- I went (I live in Phoenix, Arizona). Anyway, my friend (the most competitive "hurts your feelings, not your ideas" kind of poop; but I love her all the same) is a Tori fanatic. We carpool every morning and afternoon, so I am dreading the upcoming months- as she does not approve of my music at all. Kind of ironic, being a Tori fan and not Emm? I suppose it's possible. *For the record, I do like Tori Amos, just not as much as she does. So, if there is a "war" brewing- my vote is definitely with Emm. :) J ===== When you produce silly faces, you produce silly faces. Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo! They played Emm's version of Song 2, then did a short little interview, and then they played her version of Big Bang Baby. Kind of interesting interview: mentions of her show tomorrow night, talk about why the album wasn't a live album as planned, and a bit about the Tori cover album.
