I just have a quick question... I have a horrible memory, and people move all the time, so I can't remember if there's many people, if any, on this list that live in Chicago. The reason I'm asking is 'cause a bunch of friends and I are planning on driving the 7 hours from Columbus to see Ani on Oct. 21st. Just wondered if anyone else was going or not 'cause if so, I'd love to meet up 'cause it's been forever since I've seen anyone on this list. ~Laura ===== ~http://www.laurarobeson.com~ AOL Instant Messenger: Trinity51682 ***** "we're all rehearsing for the presidency, I always wanted to be commander-in-chief of my *one* woman army.." - -ani d. Even so... I hate to break it to the writer, but her live renditions of these covers sound remarkably similar to the album versions. - - Julian - -- [ Julian C. Particularly Famous Blue Raincoat and A Case of You, but I've heard her do some really awesome covers of songs by the Cure and Simon and Garfunkel, Zep, Hendrix... it's all good! Haven't heard the ones that will be on the new album though. I think I love Tori's covers and Emm's covers for the same reason, they totally make them their own. Half the time you don't even realize it's a cover song until you hear the chorus and recognize the lyrics. I do too. She has an EP out w/ "Smells like Teen Spirit" and the Rolling Stones "Angie" which is really good. I've heard a few of the new covers and they're interesting but I don't know if I'll buy the record... I haven't bought GV either and don't know when I will...
