Well if you go up to the show at the Black Sheep (a definite must go if you can... i wish i could, but i have prior engagements) It should be an awesome show... Not only is Emm playing, but the wonderfully talented Danny Michel will be in the house. I am sure they are gonna pack the house. If you get up to the black sheep early enough before the show, Wakefield is a beautiful place. There is this beautiful lake across the road from the black sheep and the town is quaint and lined with a number of storefronts along the main strip. 20 mins south of Wakefield is of course the Capital city of Canada, Ottawa. If you go there, time must be spent in "The Market." You can probably skip out on Parliment hill, as it probably won't be exciting. Another suggestion is to check out Montreal if you can. This is quite the happening city.. It is approximately 2 hours south east of Ottawa. There is always lots to do. Pleanty of shopping to be had and plenty of sights to see both during the day and into the night. If you end up going, say hi to Emm and Danny for me... Cheers Rannie http://www.rannieturingan.com PS: on a Danny Michel related note. He will be performaing at the Rivoli in Toronto on August 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Wow 3 nights, kinda baffles me. but i am sure he will sell out each and every night. On the Thursday night show (August 2nd) my installation of One Night Stand, will once again grace the walls of the rivoli. So come out and check it out if you can. I have a question for all the Canadians......I'm thinking of road-tripping with a friend up to Canada for a weekend, and I thought it would be cool to go the weekend of Emm's show at the Black Sheep. Is there anything else to do around there if we were to stay for the weekend? Any cool cities nearby? If anyone has any ideas that would be a big help. Thanks.
