She did a fantastic version of July on Friday...I was completely blown away. Last night she only got like a 30-minute set, but she sounded wonderful. She even did Andy of the North :) I don't know if you've checked out Emm's website for tour dates lately, but there are lots of shows coming up.The next show is at the House of Blues in Cambridge, MA on May 2nd. Emm's band will be there, so it's going to be great. This cool Boston radio station, WERS, is putting on this show and other performers that night include the Silverpoint and Chapter in Verse. Speaking of Cambridge, Emm has a residency at the Kendall Cafe--every Monday in May she will be headlining the Kendall. The lovely and talented Jessica Weiser will be opening for Emm on May 7th. This really cool band called the Prayer Boat will be opening on the 14th. Matt Jenson is opening for Emm on the 21st, and Marci Geller will be opening on May 28th. Mondays usually suck, but thanks to Emm, Mondays in May in Cambridge won't suck. There are so many other shows, too...so just go to Emm's site to see what's coming up. I also wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been coming to the shows. You rock.
