Sorry if you misconstrued my response as a slam on ya. That wasn't the intent at all. I wouldn't classify my musical tastes as as being Christian or "religious". In fact, I really don't know many artists in that genre other than Amy Grant and Jars of Clay. I do like songs that touch me on a personal, almost spiritual level. There's a difference between being "spiritual" vs. being "religious", imho. Emm Gryner's music speaks to me on a spiritual level. So does Sarah Mc's, Tara Mac's, and Plumb's. Does that make sense? My personal tastes are quite eclectic. Everything from '80s hardcore to classical to folk to trance. I even like a well-laid out country or rap song on occasion. For me, music that "speaks" to me is stuff that grabs my attn. Just my two cents, Joe ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2001 03:21:07 -0000 From: "secret agent kr" Subject: Re: everybody hates poetry im so surprised that this caused such a stir!! anyway i just wanted to say that i adore e.e cummings! but Sylvia plath is my favorite poet ever. arent lyrics poetry? what is poetry anyway? if you want to put out a book of chewing gum i say do it. some dude did a book of random people on the streets of NY. just headshots. whatever! do what you love. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxxoxooxoxoxoxokr - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2001 03:26:40 -0000 From: "secret agent kr" Subject: Re: the Philly show after danas post about the horrible snow storm she drove in.... i would like to make a special request to all the nutty headlines out there... try not to risk your life to get to an emm show more than once a month OK?????
