(No offense to Frank G ;) ...) .. so now I'm all disheartended.. does ANYONE have a copy of the Phonecall 45 I thought I was getting? If you need help in making it an MP3 I'll be more than glad to assist you.. And while I'm pleading for a song, I'll plead for another. :) Does ANYONE have a live version of Idaho? It's one of my very favourite songs, but I have not been able to find a single version (bad or not) of it... Can anyone help? I don't know how many people here care about And Distrust It, but if one of you is able to help me I'll give you the full set of MP3s ! ;) ... They'll be up on my own site later, but you'll get them before that.. (this is my only bargaining tool! lol..) Welcome, Marla! This is a fabulous list with fabulous people with amazing taste in music. I have found out about a dozen and a half new artists that I never would have heard of or thought of buying their music before I signed up to this list about 2 years ago. Plus we've got some fledgling superstar singer/songwriters that or on this list too: If you like Emm, check out Tricia Concepcion, Jessica Weiser, Chelle, Lindi or Rayanne. they all are AWESOME -- very talented. You'll like it here. Not only does everyone on this list LOVE Emm, but they have amazing taste in other artists as well. I'm going to be at the Emily's show in Boston on the 23rd, assuming nobody notices that I'm *not* 21+. A few people have told me not to worry about it, but I'm getting nervous about getting in. So, everyone who is of age and near Boston...be there or else!! Dana and I will be at two Meghan Toohey shows next week: the 11th at Club Passim in Cambridge, MA and the 13th at A Joyful Noise in Lexington, MA. She's another great one to check out, and she's opening for Emm on the 23rd, too. Not like Dana hasn't drilled it into your heads enough :) , but go order Meg's discs at www.cdfreedom.com/meghantoohey. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and I can't get enough. Anyone going to Emm's DC area shows? It's a long haul for me to go, but I should be able to make it. There's another 21+ issue to get by at Iota, but maybe by then I'll be warmed up after sneaking into Emily's!! I am really proud of Dana, Nicky, and Gretchen for starting this company and impressed at their dedication and hard work! I know that the artists (Emm, Meghan Toohey, and even little ol' me!) will benefit greatly from their efforts. :) I'm excited for the "Emm and M" tour as Ms. Toohey is a dynamic, awesome musician with some GREAT songs... :) Jess www.jessicaweiser.com | mp3.com/jessweiser "i sing sometimes for the war i fight, cause every tool is a weapon if you hold it right" - -ani difranco ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 Jan 2001 20:13:26 -0800 (PST) From: dana wagner Subject: Re: EC/OAC: upcoming gigs hehe, thanks you guys. :) we're very excited about it. the name was gretchen's idea. so come celebrate the start of the emm & m tour at emilys! keep your eye on emm's site for more tour dates coming very soon! dana - --- Songbird22@aol.com wrote: > Julian writes: > > > BTW I wanted to congratulate whichever of the > three of you Public Awareness > > folks it was that came up with the name "The Emm > & M" tour.
