If anyone happens to have an extra ticket to Nina's show that they want to part with, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands, I'm dying to see that show! Does anyone know if she's doing another show in Toronto that's not "industry only"...I'll be royally pissed if this is the only show she does and I don't get to see her! ********************************************** Mike Keast (mikekeast@email.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ "i don't care if they eat me alive i've got better things to do than survive" ********************************************** - ------Original Message------ From: Isaac Greenwald To: headline-girl@smoe.org Sent: December 4, 2000 9:21:08 PM GMT Subject: [No Subject] - -I was all sleepy in my bed when I heard the phone ring... -I just won exclusive tickets to see NINA GORDON @ the NOW lounge tomorrow evening! OMG! Ever since Sarah Harmer kept talking about how she wanted to get Weeping Tile playing together again in a bunch of interviews this year, I've been waiting to hear more about that. Turns out Weeping Tile is playing a benefit gig for the Salvation Army in Kingston December 21st! Ack! Road trip, anyone? :-) - - Tab :) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Get more from the Web. I saw that display, too. At the time, the only other two displays like it were for Madonna and Limp Bizkit. Best Buy is great about stocking a wide variety of music, but it was still a surprise to see that display. Borders had You Were Here in one of their listening stations for awhile. And when I was in Orlando last week, I went to the Virgin Megastore and they had it under the Best Sellers section (?!). Hmm. They also played not one but two Tori Amos songs in the ten minutes I was there, so I now have a greater appreciation for that store. ;-) Haven't seen it at Starbuck's, but then again, I've never set foot in one. :-) elizabeth ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V3 #323 ***********************************
