And if all else fails, I'm sure there are people on the list (myself included) who'd be happy to pick up copies for anyone who wants them. ************************************************* Mike Keast (michael.keast@giffels.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ "thank god i've got 3 minutes to tell you what i did today" ************************************************* ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2000 14:34:55 GMT From: "the wicked witch of the west" Subject: Re: OAC: Sarah Harmer hey all it hink you can only get valentino at sarah harmer shows.....ive seen them there but no where else. xo kr 24 days till the party!!!!!!! _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Disco Lights on bass. oh my god the new bass part for this is the funkiest thing ever!!!! emm totally rocked out and tore it up!!!! 1. summerlong (on piano!!! woo!) 2. Disco Lights (on Bass!!) 3. phonecall 45 4. OUR SOME SUGAR ON ME!!!!!! 5. Case of tornadoes 6. Crazy Train (it was a hard rock kinda day) 7. Acid for thos of you who might not be familliar, Pour Some Sugar on me is a Deff Leppard cover..... same style as crazy train...slow piano ballad...doesnt really compare to emms songs but hey, what can you do if you're a Deff Leppard? emms guitar was having some 'tuning issues' so she couldnt play Starcraft Camper Blues :( but the power in the rest of the songs (esp. tornadoes) made up for it. wow. if anyone gets to jet out here for the other niagara college show or the Grape and Wine festival, do it. weeee!!!!! xo kr _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Yeah, looks like I was a bit hasty when I said all of WT's stuff was "readily available"...I just checked HMV and Sam's websites, and they both say Valentino has been "discontinued". I wasn't aware of that, and I'm actually quite surprised, I'm sure I've seen it in stores recently...I guess it's just a matter of finding a store that stocked up before it went out of print. ************************************************* Mike Keast (michael.keast@giffels.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ "thank god i've got 3 minutes to tell you what i did today" ************************************************* ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2000 09:02:13 -0700 (PDT) From: dana wagner Subject: RE: OAC: Sarah Harmer/ WT- Valentino just did a quick search and realized that the reason valentino is so hard to find is that it has been discontinued. both HMV and Sam list it, but you can't buy it b/c it's no longer in print. so, yeah, i'd suggest anyone who wants it go to an actual canadian cd retailer and see if they still carry it. also appears unavail on sarah's official site. soooo, it's a limited edition item! maybe she'll rerelease it like emm did w/ original leap year. dana - --- Michael Keast wrote: > > > if all else fails, try canada. :) > > That's true, all of WT's stuff is readily available > in Canada...if they're > really that tough to find in the States, there are > some Canadian online > retailers (HMV and Sam the Record Man come to mind) > that should carry them. > And if all else fails, I'm sure there are people on > the list (myself > included) who'd be happy to pick up copies for > anyone who wants them. > > > ************************************************* > Mike Keast (michael.keast@giffels.com) > http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ > > "thank god i've got 3 minutes > to tell you what i did today" > ************************************************* ===== dana wagner -> http://www.aquezada.com/dwagner (coming soon!) Bonjour, I'm thinking of going up to Montreal with my French professor and some other students on Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 7-9). He has some things planned, but I was wondering if any of you know of any concerts that are happening in Montreal at that time...? Or, are there any cool new/used music stores around Montreal?
