Jess, Dana's right, a large part of appreciating Sarah Harmer is the live experience. She's amazing. Hillside Festival this summer, when she started into 'Lodestar' and the breeze off the lake came up. Man, that was sweet. Singing 'Coffee Stain' with Luther or hearing her back up Luther for 'Luther's Blues' or if you can convince her to do that Trevor Richardson (Hellbillies) song, 'Mercy Bin' you'll see what we mean. BTW: credit where credit is due... STEVE Ito :-) Started this way, way back in '95, _6_ freakin' years ago, getting me and others here into Weeping Tile. And our Tabassum has been a fan of Ms. Harmer for freakin' ages. These kids, feh ;-) James. P.S. Note to Mr. Ito: check out: Moonstarr, and come out to the Spine gig :-) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Sep 2000 10:18:37 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: Sarah Harmer i actually have seen Sarah Harmer live--awhile ago, last year, I think, with Sarah Slean. She was good, really good, actually... I don't know what it is. Weird. I listened to it in the car on the way home from the show and it sounds good so far. Once I get it cut into tracks I'll offer to trade it with all of you. I'm also (hopefully) seeing Sarah do a Tower InStore today in Boston, so I may be able to put that on the boot as well. Have a GRRREAT weekend everyone.
