He was totally awesome and kicked some freaky guy by the name of Lenny Hat off stage early so Lindi could have her moment in the sun. Although she only played 2 songs...WOW! People who had not been paying any attention to the stage shut up and listened as soon as they heard Lindi's voice. My second time hearing the new song, Slowly Decaying, and it was even better than I had remembered it. Not a seat in the place was left dry. Her other new song, Tomorrow We'll Say Goodbye, is also brilliant, and has a totally kick-my-ass demo thanks to Dylan White. Point being, everyone should not miss Lindi's next few shows because she is definitely growing as a songwriter and she will blow you away. I would've dropped by to hear Lindi. The Baggot Inn is awesome.:) Jess www.jessicaweiser.com <-- redesigned! ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 05 Sep 2000 19:19:21 -0400 From: Lauren Schreibstein Subject: Re: Lindi's NYC debut Apologies to Jess and Dana and whoever else would have wanted to see Lindi. It was very last minute and we had no idea what time she was going to play (which she almost didn't). She was just here on vacation with her family and decided to try to find an open mic. The awesome sound guy said he could get her a gig in the city whenever she comes; so no worries, she will be back soon to share her wondrous music with us all.
