They blew the roof off Lee's Palace last time they were here, so I would very, VERY highly recommend checking them out, especially if you were unlucky enough to miss the last show. And as an added bonus, the most excellent Starling will be the opening act again. Don't ask me why they're coming back again so soon after the last time they were here, but hey, I'm not complaining...I've already ordered my ticket! :) ************************************************* Mike Keast (michael.keast@giffels.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ "thank god i've got 3 minutes to tell you what i did today" ************************************************* ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2000 09:59:11 -0400 From: "James McGarry" Subject: Re: Veruca Salt/Starling - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Keast" Sent: Thursday, August 31, 2000 9:23 AM > show. Its one of their largest markets outside of their home town of Chi-town with the added benefit of the press being much (_much_) kinder to them here. The Louise and Stacey like the shopping and the boys like the Canuck girls. They'll do well at the Phoenix and its great exposure for Starling. Their tutorials are excellent; the material's broken up into easily-digestable chunks and not only are they concise, but they actually speak in English instead of techno-babble.
