["courtneylove@dork .com" Subject: NEC: Random question... Hey, just curious if anyone's heard the song "Spaceship" by Angie Aparo. It's my favorite song in the world right now, I love it. Just wondering if anyone else likes it as much as me.. ~Laura P.S. Hope everyone has a blast at Andy's party, I'm still very upset that I can't go, darn the OPEC conspiracy!! (And it *is* a conspiracy, trust me. You know with technology these days we don't really need to use gasoline for our cars anymore, it's just an excuse to start wars. Okay sorry I'll stop rambling.) P.P.S. I just realized my P.S. was longer than my original post. Hehe, that seems to happen to me a lot, I'm a moron like that. Honestly Rayanne, you are GREAT (Emm thinks so!) and I was very inspired by you at the only two shows i ever saw you at (opening for ms. Tricia Concepcion at her CD release party and one other time i think) -- but then, i'm biased. i think ANYONE who has the guts to lay their emotions out on the line and stand up there in front of complete strangers and sing and play their hearts out the way that you guys do, with NO FEAR, is pretty darn amazing. keep it up, and don't worry about the writer's block -- it'll come with time -- and do yourself a favor -- from someone who knows -- get the hell out of the retail job! i'm stuck in one myself and trying to get out (just bought 3 books on Artist and Band management (at the suggestion of Sarah Slean's manager Heather, from the Navy Soup mailing list) and am looking into "getting out" myself. i'm pretty sure you'll find much inspiration and your creative juices will start to flow when your not wrapped up in all the daily stresses and grinds of dealing with the idiot public and the long hours, and all the other crap that comes along with working in retail... now i'm done with MY rant. Rob p.s. is anyone else counting down the days til Dead Relatives comes out??? i NEED some new (old) Emm material!!! i've been listening to Parting Song a lot lately, and its got me dying for more new and old from her! << A few of my friends are expressing some disenchantment over the lack of creative flow in their lives. Oh, please don't worry about these sorts of things. Go out and live! Glow-in-the-dark bowling and parachuting and road trips and karaoke! Rock climbing and disco dancing and kissing and soccer matches! All of the commentary comes between all the living. See a good band, and sing their songs. Don't sing their songs and then wonder why you haven't written something as genius as "Don't Deflate" (Thank You Ian)...just write your own bloody songs! You are brilliant! You are a miracle! >> ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Jun 2000 19:36:43 EDT From: "courtneylove@dork .com" Subject: Re: NEC: Random question... i saw angie aparo live with matchbox and i didnt like him that much. but i kinda liked this song 'it's alright' byee > >Hey, just curious if anyone's heard the song "Spaceship" by Angie Aparo. >It's my >favorite song in the world right now, I love it. >Just wondering if anyone else likes it as much as me.. > > > >~Laura > > >P.S.
