I'm guessing the show will be in support of her new album, which I believe is coming out sometime in the next few weeks. Tickets are only $12.50, and they went on sale this morning. First Oasis/Travis, then Veruca Salt, and now Juliana...this is shaping up to be a very good month! :) ************************************************************ Mike Keast (michael.keast@giffels.com) http://www.geocities.com/dtswd/ ************************************************************ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 15:50:18 -0500 From: dana wagner Subject: nat loh lives on... this just in from emmville... p.s. today i went to my last class ever. yay! emmjournal April 27, 2000 I am buried in the studio here in London doing demos for a few more days, and all is going well. Felix and I are getting along well, sharing a common love for both Richard Ashcroft and Feist, among other things. The tracks we are doing are "Case of Tornados" and "Siamese Star", as the Music Festival Organizers of my childhood would say...2 contrasting pieces. Sort of. I will say that it's lovely to be in a city where you can switch on MTV and instead of seeing some sad dating game show, you can see Richie play "A Song For The Lovers". This has undoubtedly made the mornings pleasant. So besides cutting out imaginary children out of bubble gum and pacing the studio floor and roping beautiful people into playing on my songs and heading off to the pub, I've been waiting by the computer to see if Nat Loh is, in fact, going to organize my first ever San Francisco living room show in May. [Drum roll here...] I'm also pretty thrilled about Dead Relatives: B-sides and Demos, which I'm pleased to announce will be released in the first week of July, and will be available in stores across Canada and on the web through the rest of the world. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Apr 2000 14:14:31 PDT From: "Tab Siddiqui" Subject: OAC: Indigo Girls & Sarah Harmer in T.O. Hey, folks... Since there's been some talk of the absolutely wonderful Sarah Harmer on both these lists, I thought I'd mention that she'll be opening for the Indigo Girls' Toronto date June 16 at the Molson Amphitheatre. Tickets go on sale this Saturday... I think it's an inspired combination, and it'll be amazing to see Sarah play such a large venue. I think she'll make a lot of new fans from the IG's audience, so good on whoever came up with that double-bill! :) - - Tab :) ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V3 #112 ***********************************
