If you intend to see that admission is $12 alone and > from what I've seen, tickets to single shows are $8-$15...wristbands cover > everything. Have a good week y'all. Tickets for the larger venues are about that price, tickets at smaller venues, like the Riv, the Bev, etc, run about $5. But I will say, the wristband is worth it, you can check out.. I think I've managed 22 bands once, and that's only going nights... CMW are disorganized though, in comparison to NxNE, expect overtimes, late starts and last minute program changes. A wristband will allow you to get in and out of most venues fairly quickly. There are a few shows that will fill up quick and will only allow laminates only into the venue. Looks good, helluva lot better than that sad "Summerlong" one. I haven't seen it yet Andy, and it being better than the Summerlong video would not surprise me in the least... Emm's videos were interesting and innnovative up until that point... I'd hazard a guess and say the Summerlong video didn't have a lot of Emm input. I hope not, but if she did, I prolly just insulted her :-o Besides the "Hello Aquarius" video, were there any others? Can anyone tell me who else is performing at the CMW exhibition on Saturday? (Besides Serial Joe) Bubble tea is so 1999. It's all about the jelly now. ;-) np: "i know you're spinning inside" - - signing off again...andrea ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 19:55:58 -0500 From: Joni Daniels Subject: Emm Gryner at CMW TOGETHER AT LAST! Toronto - Emm Gryner's CMW performance (Friday March 3 11:20pm - Horseshoe) is one you won't want to miss. For the first time live on stage, Emm is joined by three members of the inimitable Transistor Sound & Lighting Co! Do NOT miss it. The show will be taped for later broadcast by the CBC's RadioSonic, but, trust me, you're going to want to BE THERE. You can also catch Emm on the CMW Conference side at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel on the Blockbuster stage Saturday at 2pm. Early risers can see Emm in a television appearance, performing two songs, Wednesday March 1 on CBC Morning (8:20am). - -- check out Emm Gryner's new album "Science Fair" http://www.emmgryner.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 21:03:40 EST From: "courtneylove@dork .com" Subject: julia i saw it! its about synchronized swimming or something. although i bet theres a more spiritual message and something way deeper in the imagery. blah. however, its awesome. and whats wrong with summerlong? i kinda like it. love miss priya ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 21:19:36 EST From: JewelEDA21@aol.com Subject: Re: julia I like Hello Aquarius the bestest :) lates, Sebbers :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2000 22:00:23 -0500 From: dana wagner Subject: more journal another new entry today. very funny - go check it out. it's kinda cute hearing all the minutest details of emm's days. dana - -- Dana Wagner University of Pennsylvania, Class of 2000 go elsewhere --> http://www.sas.upenn.edu/~dwagner "i am slowly getting there the place between love and i don't care." -e.g. ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V3 #53 **********************************
