I just got a GREAT CD in the mail yesterday and I wanted to tell everyone about it! It's Pancho's Lament... for those of you saying "Who?!?!" Pancho's Lament sings the theme song for Jack & Jill on The WB Network - Truth About Romeo! (I've LOVED that song from the first time I ever watched the show and searched for a long time to find out who sang it!) You can't buy the CD in stores, but you can get it over the net. Here's how... Go to - http://jacknjill.hypermart.net/ Click on LINKS and find the "Official Pancho's Lament Web site" Almost every week during Jack & Jill a song is featured by Pancho's Lament, some of those songs are on this CD. Just wanted to let everyone know... in case some of you were loving that song too!! Smiles! :-) Stephanie ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 09:24:33 EST From: Zelie519@aol.com Subject: NEC: Tara Maclean featured on The WB Network Hey! On Sunday, February 20, Tara Maclean's song "For You" was featured on Jack & Jill AND a song from Passenger was featured on Felicity (but I can't remember which song... maybe Higher or Settling...) I was so excited when I heard the songs during the show AND even better... they actually announced her as the featured artist (typically at the end of WB Network shows, they will list 1-2 artists whose songs were featured during the show)! AND more Tara info... a local radio station in Akron, Ohio (WKDD 96.5FM) started playing "If I Fall"!! :-) That's all from me... ~Steph :-) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 07:38:31 PST From: "kristy radford" Subject: hotels hey all i just wanted to remind anyone comming to the Emm Gryner/Holly Palmer shows at the Fez on March 31st and april 1st, to BOOK HOTELS NOW. Last time we all went down we expected to just drop by the Hostel and get a room but they had bookings a month in advance. we ended up having to call 35 different hotels in the area and staying at a $300 (american) hotel. fun but very expensive. there are actually lots of low-mid priced hotels in manhattan you just gotta book early...i will try to post some tomorrow because i have a book wth a massive listing in it. ummm i guess that's it! take care and enjoy this beeutiful weather!!! xo kr ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 11:32:35 -0500 From: "Shannon" Subject: Re: hotels Woo kr! FYI. i got a room at the Belvedere Hotel located in mid-town, hell's kitchen for only $200/night and this was pretty late in the bookings. check everywhere. i find travel agencies can always find you the best rates. best of luck from out west. have fun nat >hey all >i just wanted to remind anyone comming to the Emm Gryner/Holly Palmer shows >at the Fez on March 31st and april 1st, to BOOK HOTELS NOW. >Last time we all went down we expected to just drop by the Hostel and get a >room but they had bookings a month in advance. >we ended up having to call 35 different hotels in the area and staying at a >$300 (american) hotel. fun but very expensive. > >there are actually lots of low-mid priced hotels in manhattan you just >gotta >book early...i will try to post some tomorrow because i have a book wth a >massive listing in it. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 22:31:12 -0500 (EST) From: "Julian C. If you've never heard of it before, it's really cool. Basically you join a circle and then you're able to upload/download songs, links, post your pictures, etc. So I started it out a little, added some of my pics, put up a few links, added a song (something called Half Sorry, whatever the hell that is;) But, it'd be much much better if you all joined and each added a little bit to it. Also there's a chat room so if you don't have AIM, maybe this will work out better. I hope you like it, please go check it out at least!! I just thought it'd be really cool if everyone joined.. Have a good night everyone! ~luv you all!
