(Heh--after Steve, Gian, and Tab brainwashed me ;) I was raving about Emm on all the lists 2 years ago and turned a bunch of peeps on to her too)... > drummer. > I mean how can you not love that guy?! How long has this album been out?? The new one hasn't been out very long... he has another one out as well... they are both stunning and original pieces of work. *Art* You know, from the lyrics to the artwork to the music, it is all beautiful... He also did a CD ("Rapture") with Kurt Swinghamer (who plays on Ani's newest as well as Sarah Slean's "Blue Parade")... Anyway, he's really just cool... :) Jess www.aquezada.com/jess | www.mp3.com/jess <-- new mp3 coming tonight!! :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 31 Jan 2000 19:53:01 EST From: "Erin &:^y" Subject: NEC: just trying to get some publicity Hey everyone! I mentioned this on the TO Fumblers list months ago, so I thought I would mention it here. My school is performing the musical Evita in April, so I thought I would do a little promoting (which may end up being bragging) Top Ten Reasons to go see Evita: 1. Better than your average school musical 2. It's only $12 for a good musical compared to $60+ for a big show in Toronto that isn't all that great (i.e. Beauty & the beast) 3. Chance to see some amazing young talent 4. Chance to get out of the city 5. We're renting what is supposedly on of the best sound systems in Ontario 6. We are probably way over budget and need all the ticket sales we can get 7. We *promise* it will be much better than the movie! 8. There's nothing good playing at Stratford this year [1] 9. If you come closing night I could sneak you in to a kick ass cast party! 10. It could help you study for history (if you studying 20th century Argentina)[2] If you want more info just ask. Hmmm.. probably you would like to know it's April 5,6,7,8, in Brighton, Ontario. Erin &:^y [1] - Actually there probably is good stuff playing at Stratford (like Paul Gross in Hamlet) but I needed another reason! [2] - Yeah... I was really struggling to find more reasons :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 31 Jan 2000 19:59:07 EST From: "Joanna Paddock" Subject: Re: Just Trying to get some publicity (like Paul Gross in Hamlet) ha ha ha! i am going to see that! Parul Gross is amazing... well, almost as amazing as callum keith rennie *for those of you who watch the show due: south).... just thought i would mention that... :) Jojo ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V3 #25 **********************************
