Just wondering... I didn't hear that one. But I did miss last night's appearance on CBC FM's "Radio Escapade." Dammit! She apparently was featured for like a half hour or so. Crazy. Anyway. Don't Speak, i told myself: she's Just A Girl. Huh?? You mistook Sook-Yin for Bif?? Bwehehe!! This brings back memories for me, because I used to traipse around to all the Bob's Your Uncle shows in Vancouver, and had kind of a crush on Sook-Yin Lee. :) She made some cool short films (The Incredible Mr. Noodle ;) and I had a meeting with her once to talk about our script projects. If you Toronto folk bump into her, tell her Vancouver misses her! I've bumped into Bif a few times here too. She's fun in radio interviews. She's pretty in a tattooed kick your ass sort of way. ;) And the Gwen Stefani thing never occurred to me before, but they are a little similar on stage... > p.s. Did anyone ever answer that person's question about the locale on Science Fair's sleeve? > Is it Coney Island?? I believe the question was about the *inside* pics. My guess is the train station in Toronto? p.s. Jodel, where's my NOW?? ;) p.p.s. I ~love~ Chantal Kreviazuk's new cd and can't wait to see her here next month, ~with her band~! ;] Bob http://homepages.infoseek.com/~emmgryner/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Nov 1999 15:35:26 -0800 (PST) From: laura robeson Subject: 89X Stole XMas show Hey guys, I was listening to 89X today (for the first time in about 6 months) and I heard a commercial for the annual 89X Christmas show at Cobo Hall and it sounded pretty kick ass.. Blink 182, Oasis, Bush and one other one that I can't remember.. so anyway, I checked out Ticketbastard.com and tickets are from $20-35 which I don't think is too bad.. so I thought I'd see if there was anyone else interested in going, 'cause everyone needs a good December concert right? So let me know as soon as possible 'cause I'm sure tickets go fast for this thing.. see ya! ;) *Laura ===== "going once... going twice... sold to the girl who ignored all the good advice of all the people who knew better. of all the people who knew worse. yeah, her will was her chauffeur. yeah, her will was her curse." - -going once *ani d.* __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
