Sorry I haven't been posting the tour dates I promised, but things on the touring front changed rather suddenly! Last night, at the Fez in New York (thanks for coming out to all our list friends!), Holly Palmer announced to the audience there that Emm would be joining her on the road for the month of October singing backup for David Bowie! Unfortunately, this means that Emm won't be joining her idol and mentor Ron Sexsmith on his western tour dates, but she hopes to be back for the Ontario and eastern dates beginning in November. Check out the website for a note from Emm to you later today (I hope. We've been having some trouble with the website and Steve and Paul have been working like crazy to get it fixed). There will be some TV appearances you won't want to miss! But we'll keep you posted - tour diaries too: http://www.emmgryner.com Joni ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 25 Sep 1999 10:42:41 -0400 From: Paul Schreiber Subject: Re: Emm article from the article: >This is a self-produced effort, recorded on an eight track in various >locales including northern California hmmm ... they moved Los Angeles when I wasn't looking :-) Paul shad 96c / 3B CS / mac activist / eda / fumbler fan of / jewel / sophie b. / sarah slean / steve poltz / emm gryner / / x-files / buffy / dawson's creek / habs / bills / 49ers / t h i n k d i f f e r e n t. Sorry folks, we had a hard drive crash at Emm web HQ yesterday morning, and it will be a little while until everything is restored to normal working order. For the same reason, it may be a little while until I can put up Emm's special announcement on the site. I hope you'll hang in there with us... we're gonna be rockin when we get back online! I'm most likely going to the show tomorrow and was wondering where the fairgrounds are in Forest. I've been through Forest many times on 21, but haven't seen any fairground or signs for fairgrounds. Can anybody help? Anybody else going to the show?
