But Trish the BIRTHDAY GIRL is standing here with me. We just got through with the small outdoor concert... First Chelle played an awesome set, including a request from moi :), Rayanne did a great job and played an AMAZING new song called "Independence and Soul" which I believe will be on her EP ;) that she's working on!! Yay Rayanne! Then I played...no comment cause my throat is killing me, and then our own Tricia Concepcion played 3 songs which rocked! Including 2 requests from Emm and her manager (who were singing along ;) ) for "stargazing" and "ticket 152"... :) Very cool... We took a short break and Emm came on. Her set was really good, she even played Fetching Decay for me and some other people who have continually requested it ;) It was beautiful... She played new and old songs, including Southern Dreamer, Summerlong, Wisdom Bus, and Revenge, and for a special "encore" Emm invited Trish, Rayanne, Chelle and I to sing Hook Machine with her!! Anyway!! We were just having a group singalong and did some Cranberries and Emm tunes... Back to the par-tay :) More soon... I rushed home, it's about a 15-20 min drive, in the hopes of being the first to write about the show, but Jess seems to have outwitted me. :) She seems to have covered things pretty much, but I would like to add that the baseball players playing in the field nearby, the children playing in the pool nearby and the Concepcion family's dogs added a nice touch to the concert. Did you plan that, Trish? :) The "after-show" mini-concert by Trish's brother's band was good. I got to meet a lot of people I've heard about from the various lists and IRC. Nice to meet you all!
