We did REALLY REALLY well. the total, in canadian funds came to $340!!!!!! amazing considering you all trusted me to look after your money and most of you don't even know me! now. the only problem that i see right now is that the exchange rate for the Pound is REALLY REALLY high. in the end our donations would amount to roughtly 136pounds.... is that a lot? i have no idea. i can't email the folks at free tibet today as i have to run to work but i will tomorrow and i'm going to find out the lowdown....if it is a lot of money, then i'll send it immediately, if it isn't then i'm going to ask them if there is a more local chapter that we could send ti to where the exchange might not be so bad and our donationis might be maximized. so that's the deal...i wanted to let you all know so that you can all run to the bank and make sure none of the cheques bounce... hahah keep you psoted on what happens. also open to ideas. if you all think we should jsut send it as is, then no prob! i jsut want to get the most out of all our hard earned donations. thankyou again to all of you whoul could donate!! it is anamazing thing that we collected this much money in so little time!!!!! tale care everyone! kr ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Aug 1999 03:25:58 PDT From: "Mark Urban" Subject: help get Emm on Conan......
