Dunn" Subject: a sneak peek at the fair! Hiya folks, Emm said that her CDs should be pressed by the time she gets back from her current tour, so you folks who pre-ordered _Science Fair_ can expect to get their copies within the next few weeks! Until then, Emm's asked me to put up a soundbite on the Dead Daisy Records website. You'll need a RealAudio or MP3 player to hear it. The sound quality isn't great because I had to compress it quite a bit to reduce the file size, but it'll give you a taste of the upcoming album. I would have put up more, but Emm wanted to make sure that her amazing fans who pre-ordered the CD would get to hear most of the tracks before anyone else. Anyway much apologies for the delay. But I guarantee that this nice long soundbite from the second track of _Science Fair_ will be well worth the wait. I invite you all to surf over to the Dead Daisy Records site now and tune into STEREOCHROME! http://www.bigfoot.com/~deaddaisy Steve ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 08 Jul 1999 06:52:58 PDT From: kristy radford Subject: Re: headline-girl-digest V2 #144 speaking of Tibetan Freedom (hello james) i need to send in the donations asap!!!! there are a few of you who have e-mailed me provately and said tht they were on the way but it had been abot a week and a half since i got the last one so......if you are sending one, e-mail me asap chacheena@hotmail.com and then i will hold off.....i think we need another 50 to push us over the 300(?) dololar mark so if you've been thinking about donation, please do. it's a great cause. Especiially people like Joni Daniels, or people that have multiple addys....Or, if you ever want me to write you, then i need your address. :) Next a public announcement: MARK URBAN ROCKS. Thank you so much for the Emm tape, I love you, you have given me so much material that i could never ever repay you!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. :) Thank you! Now something that actually has to do with Emm. I have recently rediscovered her (as in, listening to SOMETHING of hers every day-last summer after I bought it the first day it was out, I listened to Public at least once a day, most usually 3 times-and hearing her earlier stuff (And Distrust It) and now hearing the tape of the Living Room-Backyard Show, and i am only into Wisdom Bus, the third song, I just cannot believe how she has come along and developed and she is just so talented, but hey, i'm preaching to the converted here, so i'll stop, but wow. :) Emily :) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 08 Jul 1999 22:59:56 -0400 (EDT) From: "Julian C.
