Those Toronto locals who didn't make it to this show -- shame on you! :) It was very good; as close to 'cozy' as one could have been inside the free times in which the temperature was approximately minus ten degrees. :-( Trish, Rayanne and Cicero played round-robin fashion with a short break in between the 'rotations'. It's the first time I've heard Trish play that many songs, and man, even the new ones kick ass! I can't wait for the new album; Trish assures me that it's well on its way, with the cover artwork just completed, and the masters soon to be on their way to the manufacturer. Rayanne played a variety of old and new material, including my personal favourite, "Ink". (I don't know if I mentioned this last time, but for a long time I thought it was "Inc." and I couldn't figure out what it had to do with corporations... um, DUH :) ) Finally, Dylan played a very compact selection of songs, which were very pleasant to listen too -- I haven't seen a lot of Cicero's shows, but this was perhaps one of the better performances, maybe because it felt so "homely" :) So thanks to Rayanne for putting it all together (I understand where your e-mail nickname is from now, by the way) and for Trish, Rayanne and Dylan for sharing some of their songs with those of us present.
