Hi all, I'm brand new here having got Emm's album a couple of weeks ago. It hasn't been released in the UK as far as I know, but someone mentioned Emm on the Paula Cole list and I checked out the Real Audio snippets at CD Now and was hooked! The album is excellent and I can't wait for the next! Anyway, as I'm a newbie here, I was curious to know the URL where Trish's stuff is. I'll be glad to give you the URLs. My homepage is http://star-gazing.iscool.net (there's 2 RealAudio songs here) And the Lilith Fair Online Talent thing with the MP3 of a different song is: http://sharehouse.xoom.com/lilith.php3 Trish(who's going to school today to dissect a cadaver...eek!) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 May 1999 16:01:04 -0400 From: Steve I Subject: Re: Hello & Trish's MP3 At 08:56 AM 5/12/99 EDT, TrishTLC@aol.com wrote: >Trish(who's going to school today to dissect a cadaver...eek!) For your information, my cadaver died from breast cancer, not multiple gunshot wounds!!! Hahaha! No, really, it's not that scary living here...you just have to know when to flash the right gang signs...joking, joking... I'm out to bother you again (well, the fumblers at least)! sorry for the major crossposting. Okay, as you may all know by now, the absolutely wonderful Emm Gryner (who was on dini petty yesterday, and i didn't know about it until a friend of mine called) will be performing at this year's Canadian Tulip Festival held in the nation's capital! Emm will be performing on Saturday May 22nd, at 7:30. Her set is supposed to be about 45 minutes long (way too short in my opinion...i want 24 hours of Emm!!!). I was just wondering who will be definitely coming up to Ottawa for it, or if you live in Ottawa, who will be coming downtown for it. If you'd all like to do dinner or something of the sort before the show, let me know. and guess what? Since i'm a volunteer, I get a free pass! woohoo!! I wonder if that pass can do other things for me (ie. maybe meet Emm??)...hmmmm...okay, so email me privately, and remember not to click the reply all button....we wouldn't want all the other lists getting mail they don't need. okay, that's all for now :) Jess :D ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 May 1999 18:27:44 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: Hello & Trish's MP3 Welcome, Chris. > Anyway, as I'm a newbie here, I was curious to know the URL where > Trish's stuff is. http://sharehouse.xoom.com/lilithfair/ Her song is "Stargazing". You can also find that clip on her website here: ttp://star-gazing.iscool.net She is amazing. I have a song up on the Lilith site: "The Drive"... it's a really early 4-track of a song I'm putting on my next album, so it isn't that great, but, whatever... Another list I was on did this once, and raised a lot of money, and a couple people here seem to think it's a good idea... so, if you guys would like to do that, I think it'd be wicked. I don't necessarily have time to be in charge of it, but... um, how wouldy ou guys want to do it? When should we do this by? How should we present what we've done to emm? thoughts/questions/comments? also, bday card stuff goes here: j weiser @ 11 hoyt st madison nj 07940 thanks in advance- jessica http://adam.nettfriends.com/Jess ------------------------------ End of headline-girl-digest V2 #98 **********************************
