Another solution to the 'problem' of double messages would be if everyone subscribed to both lists, but only posted to one. ;) I think #2 is the only point with merit, so maybe only 'important info' should be cross-posted. I'm curious about how many people are on each list, and how much overlap there is... Next week, Trish rocks!! :) Jessica http://adam.nettfriends.com/Jess ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 04 Mar 1999 12:56:30 PST From: "Tab Siddiqui" Subject: Lunch with Emm! ;-) Hello, all you Headline Busers and Wisdom Girls... ;-) What a great way to spend lunchhour! Emm played this little, uh, *mall* in the financial district today. They have live performances there from time to time to entertain the office grunts on lunch break, so our Emm was the guest of honor today. She put on 2 great sets (with an autograph break in between) on solo piano with the Kevin Fox on cello. :) I couldn't believe that she could concentrate in that weird environment of a constant stream of people walking through the mall, but she sounded amazing, as ever. Highlights - - a *piano* version of "Summerlong" (!), and the always spine-chilling "Crazy Train". Hello to Julian, Roberto, and Mari, who all dropped by (Mari completely by accident, as she works in the area! )... BTW, if anyone taped Emm on The Mix today, please let me know - I just missed it by an hour - checked my mail a little too late. :( - - Tab :) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 4 Mar 1999 16:26:39 -0500 From: "Andrea " Subject: Re: a little off the subject... > I was just wondering what the heck happened to the Tape Tree #2? I didn't get a chance to see Emm play earlier this afternoon downtown, but she really did sound *amazing* on the 99.9 today. Emm was funny and sang "Wisdom Bus" and "Crazy Train". I got it on tape, if anyone needs.
