(We didn't get stopped at the US/Canada border either!) Yes, it was a long drive(4+ hours roundtrip) but yes, it was WAY worth it. She had a new band member, I forget his name, but he played bass, and Kevin Fox on cello and acoustic guitar, and Stephen McGrath on drums. This was her set list: Your Sort of Human Being, Phonecall 45, Summerlong, Revenge, Crazy Train, 89 Days of Alcatraz, Wisdom Bus, and Sabotage. Sabotage? Yes, it was a Beastie Boys cover!!! It was so awesome. Her new song she wrote a few weeks ago, "Revenge", was equally awesome. This was the best I've seen Emm live, so far. After the show, we talked and snapped a few pictures. I kind of mentioned that I was going to the studio tomorrow to record a demo and she said, "When am I going to hear this?" I mentioned that I would be playing drums, guitar, and piano on my songs and she seemed most interested in me playing the drums. She was super nice though, as always. But she said she couldn't hang because she had to go back to Toronto. I also met Stephen McGrath on the way out. What a cutie! He was so nice too and I complimented him on his Pearl drum kit. I was a little surprised at how long he talked to us too, but hey, I didn't mind! He said he recognized me too from when I saw Emm in Windsor! Your sort of double happiness, Trish ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 Feb 1999 15:10:26 -0500 (EST) From: James McGarry Subject: Re: Awesome show in London On Sat, 6 Feb 1999 TrishTLC@aol.com wrote: > She had a new band member, I forget his name, but he played bass, and Kevin > Fox on cello and acoustic guitar, and Stephen McGrath on drums.
