I have 4 days to come up with a Grad Quotation, the little blurb you write for the yearbook they stick next to the photo, your school will remember you by, and I have noooo idea what to write. I know that I definetly want a quotation from a song, b/c music is a big part of me...here are some that I thought of, I'm sure most of you are familiar with them... "Don't let your life pass you by Weep not for the memories" - -I Will Remember You, Sarah McLachlan "It's a long way down to the place where we started from..." - -Ice Cream, Sarah McLachlan "I know we've been to hell and all that But I would not change the years that we've spent" - -Doomsday, Emm Gryner *this is my favourite one, but I'm not sure if my school will allow the use of the word "hell"...substituting "heck", just wouldn't be the same... "The time when kindness falls like rain It washes me away" - -Anna Begins, Counting Crows "No Dress Rehersal This is our life" - -Ahead By A Century, The Tragically Hip I'm looking for something to reflect the past seven years of my life, its importance or something to do with an optimistic future. If you have any help or suggestions, I would be very very grateful...I know I'm missing some quotations, but this is all I could think of at 2 am in the morning. I'm desperate, this means a lot to me. Thank you everyone! ~Andrea! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ICQ: 10294764 AOL IM: TheAndyC http://listen.to/canadianmusic - http://listen.to/boots - http://travel.to/thecomfortzone - canadian-music@smoe.org PROUDLY CANADIAN MUSIC WEB RING http://surf.to/canadianmusic "Fuck 'em all I say, they'll be sorry when the star buries the girl So help me vanish, help me get myself outta here" -Emm Gryner ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 14:49:29 EST From: EmmGryner@aol.com Subject: emm on party of five I was watching on of them old gay episodes of the show Pof5 and then inthe background i heard Hello Aquarius...how cool eh? i was in shock ....'cause it was a real old episode ...probaly even b4 i heard of emm ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 16:30:10 EST From: Starfall18@aol.com Subject: Emm Sighting... Not exactly, but I was reading the newspaper the other day, and it was so cool, there's a kid page twice a week on the back page of the Magazine section, and this weeks was about musicians, and how hard you have to work for success. Anyway, Emm was quoted in it! I nearly passed out over breakfast I was so amazed. I think she said something about how at shows, she would makes enough money to buy a hamburger on the way home or something like that...Isn't that cool? I don't remember the webpage, but there was a webpage involved and i bet there's more Emm stuff on it. Emm's getting some more publicity! :) *hugs* Emily :) (wow, this list has been really quiet lately...where's everyone gone??) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Jan 1999 19:32:51 PST From: "Mark Urban" Subject: no Emm content...Lilith question Does anyone know for sure if this is gonna be the last year for Lilith Fair?
