When I first listened to The Original Leap Year, and Fetching Decay came on, I was emotionally overtaken by the song if you know what I mean. And then the next song is "Hook Machine" which is the most upbeat and catchy song on the album(because it's supposed to be)! It's just weird that she put those two songs back to back. Okay back to nothing. Your sort of long ass day, Trish the Dish ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Jan 1999 12:23:29 -0500 From: Steve I Subject: Free SNEAK PREVIEW! Sarah Slean song online (cross-posted to the canadian music list, ITW, and headline girl) Hiya folks, Here's you chance to hear a song from Sarah Slean's upcoming album: There is now a free, CD-quality MP3 version of Sarah Slean's "Twin Moon" available for download at http://www.sarahslean.com . Warning: this is the *whole* song, so it's a huge file, almost 5 MB. You'll need an MP3 player to be able to play it... which means all you folks who installed WinAmp for Vickie's shoutcast stuff will be able to play it. For those of you who didn't, it's available at http://www.winamp.com . MacAmp is available for those of you Mac people out there ( http://www.macamp.com ). There is also a RealAudio version at the site, but it's much lower quality, (your typical 28.8K mono streaming version). Let me know if you have any problems! And please spread the word wherever you think someone might be interested. Could someone post to one of the Tori lists for me? Thanks folks! Weird, nah, composers have been using "tricks" like that for years. Beethoven's 7th, gets really, really, really quiet, ppp, then BOOM, into a fff. The change of tempo and style in such a juxtaposition is a conscious decision; a key to "hey! what!? huh!?" It's big in visual arts and graphic design as well, for example. "what does this have to do with the sampler tapes?", you ask. well the return address read from emm gryner, and her new jersey address. obviously i am dying to know what was contained in the letter, ( i am guessing a thank-you for helping promote her?) and i am sad that i may never know. so, i am wondering if any of the other promo tape recipients also recieved a letter from emm. please help me out!! thanks! ~michelle a canuck *lost* in the lone star state, but who is psyched to see emm, kinnie starr, and oh susannah at sxsw! ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
