You may be on the list already but may not have received the cassette yet because it's still in the mail... for example unless the US-bound tapes went out first they could easily take an extra week to arrive. Patience folks! Ever see _Hardcore Logo_? The lead singer from the band in that movie is none other than Hugh Dillon of the Headstones, and by all accounts he pretty much plays himself in the movie. If you haven't seen the movie their stage antics include spitting into each other's mouths, and into the crowd if I remember correctly. Somehow I've never managed to get myself to a Headstones show but I've heard they do pretty much the same thing. Anyway if you haven't seen Hardcore Logo, and you like Canadian independent music (and especially if you also like Canadian independent film), you really must see it. It's already a classic. >So does anyone know what the lineup times stuff? I belive it's going to be >broadcasted thru radio so I want to get everything recorded perfectly :-) >Raincoat eh? The following is taken from the CFNY website: http://www.edge102.com/whatson/ 5:30-7:00 Fun and Frivolity with Humble & Fred and YOU Live at The Horseshoe 7:00-7:30 Hopefully Ian Thornley (singer of Big Wreck) 7:30-8:00 Hugh Dillon and some Headstones 8:00-8:30 Wild Strawberries 8:30-9:00 Emm Gryner 9:00-9:30 Barenaked Ladies (probably) Obviously this is out of date since it still lists the BNL and doesn't list the Worms but it should give you a rough idea. I'd definitely tape between 8:30 and 9:30 to catch Emm for sure. My advice? Use your VCR to tape it, you can get the whole thing on one tape! There has to be a certain level of commitment before an exchange of saliva. I'm just not that kind of boy. :-) * Being in the "Gob Section" for the Sex Pistols was as far as I go... > Anyway if you haven't seen Hardcore Logo, and you like Canadian independent > music (and especially if you also like Canadian independent film), you > really must see it. Use your VCR to tape it, you can get the whole thing on one tape! And, its actually a better quality than audio tape!
