["Journey Bear" Subject: (harbinger) Paula On TV Saturday Morning!!! This Just In: CBS The Saturday Early Show: 2007/09/15 Paula Cole They follow a very predictable broadcast schedule for this show. The cooking segment will air about 8:35 AM followed by the musical segment at about 8:43 AM. Eastern time - it's from CBS studios in NYC. There will be a bit of chat before the song, then they will cut to commercial, with a snippet from the just-performed song on the audio, but not before promising another song. When they come back from commercial the hosts will blah blah for a minute or two, wish everyone a good weekend, and then say "And now here's another song from ..." They never ever leave enough time for a complete song - usually 1:30 - 2:00 - and most musicians are not aware of this. They will launch into their usual full-length intro, and leave maybe enough time for a verse and chorus before the broadcast ends. The only person I ever saw who was hip enough to this is Shawn Colvin, who cut her intro, got right into the song, and did V V Ch V Br Ch, before they cut away - very smart of her. Got essentially the whole thing in. I hope Paula is hip to this, otherwise that second song is going to get trimmed. Enjoy!
