It's not their job, they might not even know this onfo, and they could even get in trouble with their immediate superiors or the artist's mgmt for overstepping their bounds. That said, you could try anyway, and maybe if in your request you asked to whom you should address such an inquiry you might get referred to someone in the know. But expect no response, that's most likely. > >How about this: > >Please direct all media inquires to: >Tracy Bufferd >Forge Ahead Media, Inc. >212.777.5110 >tracy@tracybufferd.com > >This was on the press release that I found at Mandy >Moore's website....would that be worth a try getting >some info out of? I got a nice note from Donna DeLory (the fabulous free spirit and former girlfriend of Jay) plus a generous contribution to my cause. Nice of her to remember little ol' me. Anyway, she asked if I'd heard Paula's new release and mentioned having seen her at the House Of Blues in LA. Glad that there's no ill will there; don't know the nature of the breakup, though of course that was years ago... I saw Jay backing up someone else on TV a few weeks ago but am now blanking. And thanks to all who have sent their support. It means a lot to me, and will help me recover. Most impressive are the contributions from people I don't even know. Your hearts are in the right place. Goddess bless, JB > >On a better note I saw Jay Bellerose on Leno tonight backing Joe Henry > > PS: Oh, and tune in to see this again late late late Friday night - NBC rebroadcasts Leno and Conan a week later in the dead of night. That is, after Carson Daly and some local programming, which varies. Check zap2it.com for your local times - here it's like 3 and 4 AM - and set your VCRs accordingly. _________________________________________________________________ More photos; more messages; more whatever. On paulacole.com, on the contact page, there are 4 email addresses for her management and agency. I certainly don't expect a personal response. I just asked them to release some information on her web site or MySpace page. Maybe if enough people do the same, they will. It's worth a try. In addition to being out money for Ticketmaster fees, some people have made non-refundable travel arrangements, at significant cost. I think we all just want to know what's going on. And I agree that they really should inform people of whatever is going on. I just meant that press people are probably not going to be responsive to people outside the biz. Try anyway.
