Just seeing them reminds me of the small clubs we all sat in years ago when we got that positive energy from Paula. I miss it! The list has been quiet for so long. I am alive and well in Boston and once again my son and his reggae band is playing again this weekend...this time at the old house of blues in Cambridge, now known as Brother Jimmys BBQ. I understand it is a small chain in NY...any of you NY'ers eaten in this joint? His band is Cornerstonereggae.com and I will be there Sunday night. It's been ages. I have an American Cocker now... Dempsey. Love the guy. And Judy, darlin'... you can still live vicariously through me whenever you might like. Although, these days, you might want to pick and choose when you do so. Many changes, lo these many years since last we met. Haven't been imprisoned or institutionalized yet, but anything's possible. Glad to see Paula's back in the saddle again. It'd be great to see her again. Last time I ran into her was about a year after she had the baby. Right now, I'm sitting here at work listening to Fiona Apple singing "Criminal" and remembering back to a an amazing summer day in Michigan, standing next to Paula just off-stage at Lilith Fair, talking to her while Fiona performed this song not 20 ft from us. That whole time of running around doing the concert circuit was a lot of fun.
