Pete hasn't been playing much lately. This is in his home town of Beacon NY, across the river from Newburgh off I-84. Can't find a website for the event, so I don't know who else is playing. This is from the website for Gandalf Murphy And The Slambovian Circus Of Dreams, an excellent nearly unknown band from the Hudson Valley I have probably mentioned before - earthy yet spacey, as though they were from the Appalachians of Andromeda. Guitar, electric guitar & mandolin, accordion & cello, drums - no bass. Low end handled by guitar and low voice. Intriguing sound, heartfelt songs, definitely worth checking out even if not this time.
