Great lyrics and rhythms. I was happy to hear her open with Jolene...but the more I think of that, the better I think that song fits near the end of the show or encore. I also agree that IDWTW, ME, and Cowboys should be mid set for the people who only know those songs. I like Feeling Love as an encore, since many people know it from both This Fire and the City of Angels soundtrack, even if it wasn't a radio hit. (I still would rather have an extra song from Harbinger on the set list than have the 15 minute version jam of the song, though. I still think that's pretty indulgent, though the jam works better as an encore than a mid set piece.) But back to the original comments about no songs from Harbinger. Paula is amazing live. Unreal. I have read that fans of THIS FIRE went and bought Harbinger after hearing Bethlehem or Ordinary live. I know that she is probably doing all of the THIS FIRE songs live since that is the album most people know, but I still think she should be doing some new arrangements for the AMEN songs to get people really involved with that, and a few Harbinger songs to encourage those sales too. Hey everyone! We saw Paula in Toledo last night and I'm happy to say that they did Be Somebody!!! They did the usual set of: Jolene Amen Throwing Stones Pearl Mississippi I Believe in Love Tiger WHATCG Me God is Watching Carmen Feelin Love Black Dog (which keeps getting more unbelievable-she's knowing the song more and more and just belts it out and screams) Be Somebody (with nice little into and announcing this is our soon to be next single) IDWTW The concert was held at the Toledo Art Museum in a beautiful "ancient Rome" type theater with stone structures and pillars. Paula was very kind to the audience thanking Ohio for being so supportive all during her career. She wore a stiking new outfit of a purple sequins halter, knee length purple skirt, balck boa, and high platform shoes!!! She took time after the show to meet with her fans and sign autographs, we were happy to get another picture with her and she even said as she was leaving see you next in your homestate of Michigan!!! Can't wait... Was anyone else at the show? Hope you enjoyed it as much as we :) Take care, Tina - ------------------------------ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe harbinger Btw, if you are an AOL subscriber the above instruction will work for your EVERY time.
