Perhaps this will help - and it doesn't have to be a mother, just someone who looks like a parent. My kids solution was always to drag me with them. The management always let them in with me. My 16 year old daughter even got to meet Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray, because he said he thought it was "cute" that "she even brought her mother with her." Course, this subjected me to the likes of Goldfinger (whom I did not like ) and some of the worst hard core/punk bands I've ever heard.
