She's a pretty decent performer, but you can't fake talent. Was it me, or was her studio audience MUCH smaller than Paula's? In fact, they seemed to shy away from pulling back on all the empty space out there. For anyone interested, next time you watch your tapes, you'll see me about 4 rows deep, stage left, with my Yankees hat. You can't miss the bright white interlocking N-Y. Too bad they cut out RYHTHM OF LIFE (the opening number, so they couldn't show her walking out as they usually do), and COWBOYS. I was trying to recall if she also played ME....I don't think so. Kudos for the production team for including the longer, climactic GOD IS WATCHING instead of caving in and including just the singles. One more thing.....is it just me, or is anyone sick of the deluge of Beatle promotion every thirty seconds for this new TV movie? I mean, give it a rest! Every commercial break, entire 1/2 hour segments (VH-1's Behind the MOVIE), even overlay promos to annoy us when we're trying to watch the other programs! I mean, I'm as big a Beatle and movie fan as the next guy, but they've successfully managed to turn me off by the oversaturation. I'm probably just pissed that they're giving exorbitant airtime to this kind of stuff, yet they can't manage to find 3 minutes a day to showcase PC. Bah. Had them burned, Jimbo. A friend of mine did it for me. Sorry. :( I'll post to the list if I find the songs on CD. And I don't know what line 8 of "Ring Finger" says, either. Something about "this I know." That's what I hear, but I'm still at a loss. After yesterday's posts, it looks like I'm a dry well today. ;) Kenn ****************************************************************************** The information contained in this e-mail message is intended only for the personal and confidential use of the recipient(s) named above.
