April, thank you. This one rates up there with some of the cooler Paula experiences I can say I've ever had. Obviously, the feeling of "good vibes" is mutual for me when it comes to Paula. She's quite a person. I'm happy to know that when the site opens on her birthday, she will probably see it. Makes the work even more worthwhile to know that the one to whom it is dedicated will see the finished product. For a long time, PC was not terribly computer-literate. Phil used to have to walk her around the net to see what was going on out there. Lucky for us, it looks like she got some tutoring along the way. :) My buddy, Jim, wrote: >> One conquest of mine.....(here you go, Kenn!) >> RING FINGER >> helpless little finger attached to the third >> without independence this marriage manner learned Bless you, Jim McNamara!!!!! May the road rise up ta meet ya and all that jazz. I would have NEVER gotten those lyrics. You're a prince, man. I won't be at Toad's, by the way. Atlantic City sounds like a better deal for me. We'll catch up with each other again, though. Like she said, she'll be back in NYC soon enough. I have to say most of the questions in this chat were better than the usual fare I've read in other transcripts. Jim's approach was the tack I would take. Forego the platitudes, barrage her with questions and thank her kindly for being so cool. :) Other highpoints for me were the explanation of "Dear John" (a longtime favorite) and the news that she's still involved in Seyi's film (working title - "Don't Explain"). I contacted Sundance Channel about picking up the film when it's in the can. The person with whom I spoke has passed the information I gave them along to their acquistions department so keep your fingers crossed! Maybe we'll all get to see PC on the small screen rather than only a few of us on some not-much-bigger screen in Soho. Also, lest I forget... thank you to Steven Stewart for kindly offering his spot in the chat to me after he realized he was going to be unable to attend. Unfortunately, I was also unable to join the chat. Better luck to both of us next time, Hellion. I'll write soon.
