I never saw Paula at Life, it was actually a place called "Fez," a club below a club called "Time," I believe. Thus the confusion with all the one-word names. I -have- been to "Life before"...actually, for New Year's Eve, the same night that Kenn referred to when he saw Paula. "Life" is exactly like he described, maybe even worse. The biggest disaster was trying to get our coats from their log-jam of a coatroom. Well, actually, the even larger disaster was Grace Jones' joke of a performance, especially when I really wanted to be across town. Interestingly, we paid (at the door) $50 to get in. FYI. Anyways, the opint of this multi-e-mail multi-crosspost is my favorite singer Donna Lewis (I Love You Always Forever of 1996) is in trouble. Her Label (Atlantic Records) has done absolutely no promotion of such a wonderful artist. This bothers me, because I would hate to see her disappear entirely from the music scene. It would break my heart. Donna Lewis is one of the reasons I started playing instruments and singing as hard as I have been. I would hate to see my inspiration fade away, as would many of you. So please, if you would write e-mails to rushrush@hotmail.com saying why you believe Donna Lewis is a good artist, or why you would hate seeing her fade away, I would greatly appreciate it. He will then forward all the e-mails he receives to Atlantic Records. They can't deny something as big as we can give them. And even if you dislike Donna Lewis, do this for me, and the people who do like Donna Lewis, and we would be forever grateful!! Thank you!!!
