Granted, it wasn't New Year's Eve, but I experienced no exclusionary/velvet rope crap whatsoever that night. I was in jeans, a t-shirt (Paula one) and probably a crappy jean-jacket to hide my tape recorder. Not only did I get in, I was given a primo front row table seat, with my buddy dressed even worse than I was. Maybe Life has changed since then (pun intended).....or maybe this was the smaller club below Life, but I didn't get any flack. My $0.02. But I was suprised that she is doing the whole *main stream* big pushy club thing. The club that she performed in down here in Melbourne was called the Hifi club - it isn't a *main stream* door pigs pick who gets let in place - in fact it is the opposite - and she loved it, and kept commenting on how much she loved it - and working in such an intimate environment - i dunno.
